Delete your account
How to delete your QaceHomes tenant app account, and what happens to your information.
Last updated: 24 October 2026.
This page explains how to delete your QaceHomes tenant app account, what is deleted, and what your landlord or property manager keeps. You can delete your account from the app, or ask us by email if you no longer have the app.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the QaceHomes app and sign in.
- Go to More, then Help & support.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Delete account.
- Read what happens, then tap Request deletion.
Your request goes to your property manager — the organisation that invited you to the app. The Help screen then shows that your request is waiting. When your property manager has deleted your account, you are signed out and we email you to confirm.
Ask without the app
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email us from the address you sign in with:
Email support@qacehomes.com to delete my account
Tell us the email address you sign in with and the name of your property manager. We reply from support@qacehomes.com to confirm the request is yours, then pass it to your property manager, who deletes the account the same way they would for a request made in the app. We never ask for your password.
What is deleted
When your property manager deletes your account:
- You are signed out of the app on every phone, and you can no longer sign in to that property manager's account.
- Your access to their part of the app is removed: you can no longer see your lease, invoices, payments or maintenance requests there.
- Notifications to your phone stop.
- If you do not use QaceHomes with any other property manager, your sign-in is erased: your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, password and Google sign-in link; the codes sent to verify your email or reset your password; your app settings; the IP addresses and device names recorded with your past sign-ins; and the record of your phone used for notifications. What remains is an empty, locked sign-in that nobody can use, kept only because your property manager's records point to it.
If you also rent through another property manager on QaceHomes, that sign-in keeps working. Only your access to the property manager you asked is removed. To leave them too, ask in the app while signed in to them.
What your property manager keeps
Your property manager keeps its own records of your tenancy: your tenant record, leases, invoices, payments, receipts, maintenance requests and signed documents. These are the landlord's business records, not your app account. A landlord has to keep them — for tax, for accounting, and to settle any later question about the tenancy — so deleting your app account does not delete them.
To ask about those records, contact your property manager directly. Our Privacy Policy explains how long records are kept and the rights you have over them.
How long it takes
Your property manager is emailed as soon as you ask. Requests are dealt with within 30 days. If yours has not been dealt with by then, email support@qacehomes.com and we will follow it up.
Your property manager may decline a request — for example, while rent is still owed — and must give a reason. You see the reason in the app and by email, and you can ask again once it is sorted out.
